Rachel Hill runs Hill Consulting and knows her subject cold. The problem with expert content is never the expertise, it's that a person talking on a feed gets about two seconds to earn the next ten. So it had to look like something worth stopping for, and it had to work on mute.
We built a set rather than using an office: exposed brick, warm practicals, a bookshelf with some colour in it, and a film light left deliberately in frame. Then one idea, delivered straight to camera. The edit carries it with kinetic captions on the key lines, cutaways where the point needs a picture, and her name and company up front so nobody has to guess who's talking.
Most of the people who watch this will never turn the sound on. The captions aren't an accessibility afterthought, they're how the argument actually lands. Same with the cutaways: when she says go where the audience already is, you see the crowd and you see the fish, and the point sticks without her having to labour it.
