The brief

Kosciuszko Brewing Company sponsors The Kosciuszko at Royal Randwick. A logo on a running rail doesn't explain why a brewery and a race belong together, so the film had to.

What we did

We shot both ends of it. At the brewery: grain going in by hand, the copper vessels, the kegs, and the person who runs it talking about the beer on camera. At the track: the taps pouring on course, the race itself, the crowd, and the trophy presentation. One film, two worlds, cut so the sponsorship reads as a relationship rather than a placement.

Why the film exists

Sponsorships get signed and then sit there as a logo. This gives it a reason, and it gives the brewery something to run well beyond race day. That second part is usually the bit that gets forgotten when the deal is done.
