Transcend by Penfolds, a designed tasting experience in Sydney. A red-lit pavilion, a long sweeping white tasting bar, hosts pouring through a structured flight, and markers for France, USA, Australia and China. The room is the product, so it has to look on screen the way it looks on the night.
We covered it without interrupting it. Long lenses for the guests, close work on the pours and the glassware, and wides that let the architecture of the space do the talking. Nobody was posed and nothing was staged for us.
