Got a sale, an auction or a live event to stream? We'll run it.
The brief
The Inglis Classic Yearling Sale at Riverside Stables in Sydney, run over several days of selling. The sale ring streamed live, with a preview show before the first lot goes under the hammer and a review once selling's done.
What we did
Multi-camera coverage from the sale ring. This film is the preview show from the morning of day three. A host and two guests on the desk run through the sale so far: the clearance rate, the top lots and the highlight lots still to come. Around them, interviews at the stables and the yearlings themselves, with Inglis's sponsor spots and race replays played in.
One go at every lot
A sale ring gives you one chance at every lot. There's no pause while a camera resets or a feed drops. Everything that matters happens before the first lot: power, a backup connection, clean audio off the desk, and a plan for what to cut to when something changes. Our crew came up through live broadcast news at Network Ten, Seven and Nine, so a sale ring feels familiar.
