The brief

A flagship event, with a brand launch inside it.

RESET is the industry's flagship event, and RESET 2026 carried extra weight. It was the first RESET since AANA and ADMA merged, and it was where the combined body was revealed as the Marketing Association of Australia.

More than 600 senior marketing leaders at ILUMINA on Elizabeth Street. A full day opened by chief executive Josh Faulks and closed by Andre Agassi, with twelve speakers, twelve sponsors across four tiers, and four sponsor lunches running at once on two levels.

The team needed the whole day captured, cut into films that could do four different jobs, and the first one back while the event was still current. All from a room they could only shoot from the floor.

The challenge

What made this one hard.

01

A brand launched in the room

This was the first RESET since AANA and ADMA merged, and the day the combined body was revealed as the Marketing Association of Australia. The new logo, the branding and the room all had to be captured properly. This footage is the organisation’s own record of its first day under a new name.

02

One level was off limits entirely

No filming on Level 1 at any point. Not at registration, not walking through, not a phone grab. Anything shot there was unusable, so the plan had to work around it from the start.

03

One stage window all day

A single approved window at 2:15pm to shoot from the stage, and only with the client’s nod. Every other wide of the full room had to come from the floor.

04

Four sponsor lunches at once

Four rooms across two levels, running simultaneously, with lift time between them. Three cameras had to cover all four and still be back in the main hall for the stage window.

05

A 48 hour deadline the client set

The hero wrap and its vertical cutdowns had to be with them within 48 hours of the event, while it was still current. That date came from the client, not from us.

06

Sponsor screen time was contractual

Twelve sponsors across four tiers. The presenting partner takes first position, last position and the most screen time. That is an obligation to honour in the edit, not a creative preference.

What we delivered

Twelve films out of a single day.

Three cameras, on site at 7am, out at 4pm. An empty venue sweep before the doors opened, every speaker's full session, all four sponsor lunches, the vox pops, the board, and the new logo captured clean.

Our crew came up through live broadcast news, so a restricted floor, a moving run sheet and a 48 hour deadline is a normal day rather than a stressful one. That is the same approach we bring to event video and conference coverage across Sydney.

The archive came back organised, not as a card dump. Seven folders, speakers filed by name, one folder per sponsor, and curated selects mirroring the structure. The test we set was whether a staff member could open a folder and use a file without asking a question.

  • Highlights wrap, 1:39
The asset that went to media and out on LinkedIn first. 16:9.
  • Three vertical cutdowns, 15 sec each
Cut from the wrap, captions burned in, straight to social. 9:16.
  • Speaker highlights, 3 min
All twelve speakers, stage coverage, audience and Q&A. Lower third on every speaker. 16:9.
  • Sponsor lunch reels, 30 to 45 sec each
One per sponsor room, plus the lunch atmosphere and activations. Kept consistent so they read as a set. 9:16.
  • Sponsor and presenting partner highlight, 90 sec
The renewal asset. Built to the contractual tier order, one to two clips per sponsor minimum. 16:9.
  • Crowd vox pops, 90 sec
Agency and brand side, media and platform side, junior to senior, balanced. Lower third on every person. 16:9.
  • Rushes and curated selects, archived
The full catalogue handed back organised into seven folders, not as a card dump.

RESET 2026: Growth Through Disruption

The wrap that went to media and out on LinkedIn. 1:39

The result

The client put it out under their own name.

The client published it themselves

The Marketing Association of Australia ran the wrap on their own LinkedIn page, in the same week they launched the brand. A client putting the work out under their own name is the clearest result there is.

The 48 hour deadline held

The wrap and the three vertical cutdowns were delivered inside the client’s window, while the event was still current and worth posting about.

One day, a year of content

Twelve finished films in two ratios, built for four separate jobs: media and post-event comms, social and newsletters, selling next year’s event, and renewing sponsors.

We worked with Zarco Creative on The Marketing Association of Australia's RESET, our flagship event, and they were an excellent partner from start to finish.

Jess, Oliver and the team understood what was required, integrated seamlessly into a fast-moving event environment and delivered high-quality content with minimal fuss. They were professional, responsive and solutions-focused throughout, which gave us confidence we had a team we could rely on when it mattered.

I'd happily recommend Zarco Creative to any organisation looking for an experienced and dependable team to support a major event.

How we'd run yours

This is what set and forget looks like on a big day.

RESET is the clearest proof of how Zarco Creative runs a large, sponsor-heavy event. The same approach carries every conference, summit and awards night we cover.

1

Brief us once

One clear brief. We turn it into a shot list, a running order, a call sheet and a fixed quote, then it is ours to carry.

2

We work to your run sheet

An experienced crew who came up through live broadcast news. Restricted areas, moving schedules and one-shot moments are a normal day, not a drama.

3

The films land on time

The hero cut inside your deadline while the event is still current, then the full set: speakers, sponsors, vox pops and the archive.

Client quote reproduced verbatim from a public Google review. Delegate numbers and the merger of AANA and ADMA into the Marketing Association of Australia are from the association's own announcement and Australian trade press coverage of RESET 2026.
